With the forthcoming release of two books, Sinophone Malaysian Literature and Anglophone Literatures in the Asian Diaspora, in the Cambria Sinophone World Series (among many others which have just been published and more in the pipeline) one would think that general editor Professor Victor Mair would be too busy to travel. This would be the case for most people, but not for Professor Mair who is also on the Language Log and runs the Sino-Platonic Papers–in addition to his teaching and research! Just this past July, Professor Mair was invited to teach the European summer school for graduate students (international dimensions of the Tang period) organized by Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. As is the case everywhere, everyone was thrilled to have Professor Mair there.

Many thanks to Arina Mikhalevskaya for the fabulous photos!
